These economical, ready to use, patented*** AUTOCLAVE THERMOCOUPLE have a unique design character-
istics which reduce vacuum leakage during use. The key to the effectiveness of the encapsulated AUTOCLAVE
THERMOCOUPLE is its unique, proprietary, single extrusion thermocouple wire with molded-on connector con-
struction, which virtually eliminates leakage. The construction consists of special grade limits of error thermocou-
ple wire with a welded junction and permanently molded, high temperature standard size connector (miniature
molded connectors are available).
AUTOCLAVE THERMOCOUPLES are available in a wide variety of lengths, conductor sizes and insulation ma-
terials. Calibration Type J, K, T and E thermocouples are available.
Standard insulation materials, including FEP, PFA, polyimide tape, and B-Fiber/Glass (synthetic polyamide fiber
blend with a fiberglass outer jacket), provide extensive operating temperature ranges to fit a wide variety of appli-
cations. Other insulations with temperature ratings up to 2200 F (1204 C) are available (molded connector is lim-
ited to lower rated operating temperature).
Every unit is tested for circuit integrity and correct polarity. In addition, AUTOCLAVE THERMOCOUPLE meets
MIL-STD-105 Sampling Procedure for Inspection and MIL-I-45208A Inspection System Requirements.

The products referenced above represent the most popular constructions. Other constructions can be manufactured
to meet individual specification and application requirements. Contact us for additional information.

STORAGE, HANDLING AND USE
Nylon based films are sensitive to humidity. A high humidity level will act as plasticizer, making the film more flexible and softer,
while a low humidity level will cause the film to become stiffer.
To preserve the integrity of the materials when stored in their original packaging, it is advisable not to stack more than two pallets.
Do not store rolls on their ends.
STORAGE (RECOMMENDED)
Store the film in a relative humidity (RH) from 25% to 60% and a temperature range of 15 to 40

C (59 to 104 F). Avoid stocking in
RH less than 25% and temperatures less than 10 C (50 F).
USAGE (RECOMMENDED)
If possible use the film in a RH ranging from 50% to 60% and a temperature range of 20 to 25 C (68 to 77 F).
If possible condition the film before handling for 48 hours in the recommended RH and temperature ranges.
