Economical multi-layer vacuum bagging film
lM DESCRIPTION
Securlon L-500Y vacuum bag is a wide multi-layer extruded film providing multiple layers of safety. These layers
reduce the concerns for “pinholes”, weak spots, brittleness and inconsistency in films. It is strong, has a high
elongation and is suitable for cure temperature up to 171 C (340 F). Securlon L-500Y is not recommended for
autoclave applications.

Recommended Storage temperature is 5 C to 40 C (41 F to 104 F)at no less
Storage than 25% relative humidity. Store indoors in original packaging, do not stack
rolls on end.
Optimal usage conditions are in a Relative Humidity range from 50% to
User 60%rh. Nylon based vacuum bag films are sensitive to humidity, remaining
9 soft at higher %rh and at risk of become stiffer in low %rh, see “Hydrate
bagging films” TDS.
