COR61-AA-346S is a low profile, low shrink, unsaturated polyester laminating resin designed for use in the
production of boats, canoes, RVs, and general fiberglass parts.
COR61-AA-346S meets the EPA 40CFR Part 63 Volume 66, No. 163 National Emission Standards for Hazardous Air
Pollutants for Boat Manufacturing requirement of maximum 35% HAP content (Styrene). It also meets the International
Standard ISO 12215-1 Small Craft Hull construction and scantlings Part 1: Materials, and Thermosetting resins,
glass-fibre reinforcement, reference laminate requirements for resin type B.

calcium carbonate. The mixture is used as the polyester component in reinforced laminates.

Silmar SIL66BE-2880 is an acrylic modified surfboard laminating resin. The resin has superior
UV resistance. It is low viscosity and contains Silmar s proprietary promoter package designed
for surfboard production. SIL66BE-2880 has an improved flex modulus.

In cured laminates the resin provides excellent color, superior yellowing resistance and
toughness. Fiberglass reinforced surfboards made with SIL66BE-2880 will exhibit enhanced
weathering with an attractive and durable finish.

SIL66BQ-249 has exceptionally good color and cures almost water clear in laminates or films.
It has a low viscosity for easy wet out and is promoted for room temperature cure. We suggest
SIL66BQ-249 whenever color is of paramount importance.

SIL66BQ-249A is a version containing UV Stabilizer.

SIL66BQ-249/249A is also suitable as a base coat for flooring use in meat and poultry
processing facilities that must conform to USDA requirements. SIL66BQ-250/250A is used as
the top coat, as it contains wax.

SIL66BQ-250 has low viscosity for easy wet out and is promoted for room temperature cure.
SIL66BQ-250 can be used as a sanding resin, hot coat or for finishing. It dries tack free with
a slight wax bloom.
