HALAR ECTFE
HALAR films offer both strength and high elongation, making them ideal for the vacuum bagging
process of composite parts.

Features and Benefits
High strength, high elongation, low density release
film
Ideal for use in vacuum bag/autoclave processing of
composites
Industry standard product for many years,
particularly in the 125 – 160 C curing range
Suitable for use with polyester, epoxy and phenolic
resin systems

Do not leave any residue when peeled off
Available in white or blue, for ease of identification on
the cured laminate
Available perforated or not perforated. When
perforated, the perforation allows for solvent or excess
resin evacuation
Can act as water and moisture barrier making it ideal
as vacuum bagging protective layer when curing
phenolic resins
